Mr W Stephens
"I am a volunteer with Shades of Black Family Community Project, and I have been since 1994. Currently I am Organising Secretary having been Honorary Treasurer in the past. Shades of Black is a small voluntary project, and as such, we all do whatever it takes to ensure that Shades of Black always deliver.
Working in wnd with the local community was and still is one of the underlying tenets of Shades of Black inaugural mission statement from 1989.
Moreover, helping to create, develop and enhance participatory Social Inclusion and community cohesion intiatives, succinctly sums up the the values that underpins the work of Shades of Black Family Community Project.
When not volunteering for Shades of Black I enjoy watching; Soccer, American Football, Horse racing, Cricket, Boxing, Tennis, X Files, CSI Vegas, Star Trek, Denzil Washington, Chris Rock, Beyonce,Queen Latifah, and writing poetr, songs, playing music, Dominoes, Squabble, Chess and Card games.
At other times I work as a Probation Officer and enjoy spending quality time with my wife, children, grandson, best friend and extended family, nice wine, eating out ( and Dutch Pot takeaways) and going to my local church most Sundays."
